The unicity of Sicilian Blood Oranges relies in the location in which they grow. The volcanic slopes of mount Etna contain an element, known as antocianine, which provide the oranges with a natural antioxidant and an intense red colour.
Sicilian Blood Oranges also have a pulp particularly rich in vitamin C and anthocyanins useful for fighting inflammatory conditions.
